Mat to Cap: Honoring our Graduating College Students

As the academic year comes to a close, we want to congratulate our graduating college students as they embark on a new chapter in their lives. These individuals have not only excelled academically but have also found inspiration and strength through their martial arts training. Regardless of where they go and what they do, the lessons they’ve learned on the mat will stay with them as they navigate the challenges of their future endeavors. We are proud to have played a part in their journey and look forward to witnessing their continued success.

As some of our graduating students move on to different cities, they will continue their martial arts training at new dojos, providing them with supportive communities and a solid foundation in unfamiliar territory.

Budo Accelerator students: Rosario Pozos Moreno, Helen Barahona, and Marcos Cervantes

I want to express my deep gratitude for all the things Budo Accelerator taught us and for your endless patience. Aikido has been a great inspiration for me, motivating me to persevere in school and constantly push myself further. I hope Budo Accelerator continues to grow and benefits many more students, just like it did for me.
— Rosario Pozos Moreno

Through Budo Accelerator, I met a group of amazing people. I remember the days when I didn’t feel so well mentally and did not feel like doing anything. This program and my aikido were the things that allowed me to get out of my room on days when I felt like I couldn’t.
— Brisa Guzman-Puente

As we celebrate the achievements of our graduating students, we are reminded of the profound impact that Budo can have on personal growth, mental health, and the creation of opportunity. We are proud to have been part of their journey and look forward to seeing their continued success, wherever their paths may lead.

Together, let us continue to inspire, strengthen, and empower our youth through the practice of the martial arts.
